ADVICE, PLEASE!

Last night I found out that a dear sister in Christ’s son is under spiritual attack. I reccomended this video to them. I do not know how they stand with God and the Bible, but they do attend a local church and used to be fellow home-schollers. PLEASE watch this to see if you think it would be a good idea for them to watch this and reccomend other videos you may think better in the comment section. i would also give them “Jesus Christ, DNA and the Holy Bible”. Thank you.

  1. Not knowing the specifics of the young man’s spiritual attack, I can only offer general advice. The DVD you feature here is great, and Bill Schnoebelen is superbly qualified to address any manner of spiritual affliction. I really don’t have another recommendation to make, other than perhaps this website – http://www.carylmatrisciana.com/site/ (she came out of the New Age)

All parents need to be aware, that just because your child made “the decision,” and got baptized, does not mean they are saved! All children are welcomed into the presence of Christ (Matt. 19: 13-15.) Anyone under the age of twenty is considered a “little one,” in the eyes of God. Old Testament Law confirms this, as no one was counted in the census till the age of 20, nor could they serve in the military, nor could they even make an offering for sin. (Levites were under separate, more stringent requirements.)

Science supports the Bible, as all true science does. The part of the brain (prefrontal cortex) that handles long term consequences does not fully mature until the age of twenty – longer for those with head injuries, even mild concussions. This is why teenagers can be so easily led astray by peer pressure and and other subversive influences, such as certain types of music, and drugs. Teens are also more open to sensory experiences (dallying with witchcraft, transcendental meditation, yoga. . .) – with one thing leading to another.

Parents will fret with worry and wonder how their twenty -something Christian son or daughter has “lost their faith.” They did not lose it – because they never really had a new birth experience, they had an emotional experience. If a child can not fully comprehend the weight of their sin – how can they repent? I stress – once you are truly born again – you can not be “unborn.”

In terms of the salvation experience, I liken it to the Tabernacle. Only the saved may enter. The false convert does not enter through the narrow gate, (with a blood sacrifice) but rather climbs a ladder ( parent or Sunday School teacher) from the outside of the Tabernacle wall. They look inside, may like what they see, sit and watch on the edge of the fence, but never enter through the narrow way. Ergo – they fall or climb off the fence, back into the world. In the eyes of mom and dad – this child “lost” their faith.

Contrary to what Roman Catholicism and Judaism teach – children do not become spiritual adults at the age of 13. The age of reason is twenty, according to the Word of God.

    Numbers 1:3
From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

    Numbers 1:18
And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

Please recall – that after the rebellion from the negative reports of the ten spies – they wandered in the wilderness of sin – until everyone that was OVER the age of twenty – died out.
